Practical answers.
Can I use Cropbooks on my phone?
Yes. Cropbooks runs in the browser and is built for phones as well as desktops, so entries can be made in the field or at the mandi.
Can my accountant and farm manager have separate access?
Yes. You create users and assign roles. Each role only sees the modules it needs — bank balances and financial statements stay with the owner.
Does it support mandi commission and deductions?
Yes. A sale captures gross value, commission, labour, transport, mandi fee and other deductions per crop, so the net matches the patti to the paisa.
Can I track profit per crop and per acre?
That is the core of the product. Every cost and sale attributes to a crop cycle, giving net profit, profit per acre, cost per kg and average sale rate.
Can I import my existing records?
You can open your books with your current cash, bank, buyer and supplier balances using the opening-balance setup. For larger migrations from Tally or Excel, we help during onboarding.
Is Hindi available?
Yes. The entire app switches between English and Hindi from settings. Your own data — names, remarks and records — is never translated.
How does the free trial work?
You can start without a card and use Cropbooks for 14 days, on the Growth plan, so nothing is held back while you decide. Add a payment method when you are ready to continue — and if you subscribe before the 14 days are up, the days you have not used are added to your paid period, so you lose nothing by deciding early.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes — cancel anytime from account settings. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is my organisation’s data private?
Yes. Records are isolated per organisation and enforced at the database level, every change is audited, and financial visibility is controlled by role.
